<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor George Howard Darwin, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
I have the pleasure to inform you that a sum of £30 (thirty pds [pounds]) was granted at the last meeting of Council from the Donation Fund to assist you in your work on Periodic Orbits. The cheque will be sent so soon as I can get the Treasurer's signature, which I fear will not be until the end of March, as he is at present on the continent.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
