<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs R & J Beck, 68 Cornhill, E.C.</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
We are much indebted to you for your kind offer to lend microscropes for the Croonian Lecture. Prof. Cajal [Professor Santiago Ramon y Cajal] is at present travelling, and we have not been able to get into communication with him, but directly he arrives in England I will ascertain what microscopes, if any, he will want. In any case, we shall be glad to afford you two admissions to the Lecture. Tickets will not be issued, but if you will show this memorandum it will be sufficient.
Yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
