<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Wynne E Baxter, 170 Church Street, Stoke Newington, N.</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
In answer to your memorandum of yesterday's date, it is necessary by Statute to obtain leave of Council to reproduce the plate in question, but the permission may be regarded as certain, and there is no objection to your proceeding at once with the photograph. The work, I imagine, will not be actually published before our next Council meeting, which takes place on the 15th inst. [instant].
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
