<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to R T Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Mr Glazebrook,
You are quite at liberty to quote from the Newton pamphlet. As to portraits, you will find in "Proceedings" of the Royal Society ['Proceedings of the Royal Society'], vol. 50, No. 307, a list of all our portraits, and, among them, nine portraits of Sir Isaac Newton. We have not the book by Samuel Compton "On Portraits of Newton", nor do I know of it.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
