<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to J T Cunningham, the Laboratory, Citadel Hill, Plymouth</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
I regret to say that I am not able to carry out your request. The Society retains all manuscripts which are read at their meetings, and preserves them in the archives; neither are they ever allowed to leave the house. The Council will, however, of course allow you to make a copy for publication elsewhere, if you so desire; I will get the necessary formal leave passed at our meeting next Wednesday, & you can then send your copyist here, to whom we will give every facility.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
