<dc:description>'We have your negatives quite safe

Dear Mr Burch,
I do not know whether there is anything you can tell me as to the present position of the memorandum you are drawing for the Catal. Sci. Papers ['Catalogue of Scientific Papers'] Committee, but as Mr Rix returns here on Friday next it would be convenient to report something to him. If any part is done we could if you liked go on with the setting up in type.
Yrs [Yours] faithfully,
T E James
Clerk RS [Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
