  <dc:description>Rix, in response to their letter of 10 October to the President of the Royal Society, is instructed to inform them that, at the insistance of of Her Majesty's Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Society have decided to present the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', mathematical and biological series, and 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' to the Municipal Library of Alexandria. 'Philosophical Transactions' will be forwarded annually through the Foreign Office, and 'Proceedings' will be posted one by one.</dc:description>
