<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Right Honorable Earl of Rosebery [Archibald Philip Primrose], Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'My Lord,
In accordance with the inclosed request we shall at once send to the London Library the volumes of the "Philosophical Transactions" ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'] which are due to you; but if, as I understand, this is to be a standing order for future issues, I must trouble you to give me your signature to the form as I have amended it. The volumes are of considerable money value, and it is needful to have matters in proper form.
I am, My Lord, your obedient servant,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
