<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, Lord Kelvin [William Thomson], President of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'My Lord,
I beg leave to remind you that Sir Andrew Clark lately deceased was a Fellow of the Royal Society, and that it will be necessary to add his name to the list of deaths which I sent you for your address. Also, I may say that one sentence in the paragraphs which I sent must be a little modified? The "preparation room" is not finished as I implied, but is now being put in hand. It will scarcely be begun before the anniversary.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
