<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Edwin Bailey Elliott, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
Lord Rayleigh desires me to forward to you the inclosed note from himself. May I at the same time ask you whether you consider that the figures might be presented by means of half-page blocks, if I find that is feasible, and if the whole 14 figure are actually necessary? I see that the suggestions of the Referees have not yet been carried out with respect to marking certain points in the figures, and I shall not put them in hand until I hear further about this.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
