<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor James Alfred Ewing, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
Your paper & Miss [Helen Gertrude] Klaassen's on Magnetic Qualities of Iron is ordered for publication in the Philosophical Transactions ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society']. I am sending you today the 41 diagrams. Will you please mark on the backs of them which may be done as woodcuts in the text & which are to be done as litho. [lithograph] plates. Also which, if any, may be reduced, and whether the reduction must throughout be to same scale. Also in which cases the small-squares must be shown.
I am, yours truly
Herbert Rix
