<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Company, Lim., Paternoster House, Charing Cross Road, W.C.</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sirs,
I am obliged to you for your memorandum of January 8th, but you quite miss the point of my inquiry. You formerly printed and circulated a list of the Seperate Papers from the "Phil. Trans" ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society']. Your card to Mr. Coste was the first intimation I had that you had ceased this practice, and that you do not now advertise ^the past number of^ of our papers at all. If I am wrong in that inference, kindly let me know before this day week, as I shall then bring the matter before our Officers.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
