<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir John Lubbock, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix states that Lubbock's suggestion of the Marquis de Saporta is not valid until he submits a short statement of the grounds on which the suggestion is made, in line with the Royal Society Statute about Foreign Members. He will need to do this soon otherwise it cannot be included in the list of suggestions circulated among members of Council.

To save Lubbock the trouble of calling, Rix suggests he sends his short statement with authorisation for them to insert it in the book above his signature.</dc:description>
