<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Few & Company, 19 Surrey Street, Strand, W.C.</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sirs,
On the 20th December 1893, or thereabouts, you paid to Messrs. Robarts, Lubbock & Company, to be placed to the credit of the Royal Society's account, a sum of £24-14-11. I cannot make this correspond with any annual payment, and as yours letter to Messrs Robarts gives no particulars, I must apply to yourselves to ask for the explanation of this payment.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
