<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company, 15 Lombard Street, E.C. </dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sirs,
Under date January 5th there is an entry in the pass-book "New 2 1/2, £5-10-10". As too often happens, no particulars are given, but apparently this interest is on two capitals, namely £403-9-8, General Account, and £509-10-7, Scientific Relief Fund. Please transfer to the Scientific Relief Account £3-1-11, retaining £2-8-11 on the General Account. This is now the third downright error in the entries of a single month, besides sundry queries arising from insufficient information!
I am, yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
