<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], [Royal Society]</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'My Lord,
I send herewith the office-copy of papers on hand. Will you please mark the papers to be taken on the 19th & return it to me that I may make the usual announcement in "Nature", which we send a fortnight in advance of the meeting. The pencil numbers Dr Foster's suggestion which he made before he sent abroad. I have also received the enclosed note from the President, but do not know of any such paper: perhaps it will arrive.
Yours truly,
H Rix
