<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Reginald Hawthorn Hooker, Assistant Secretary, Royal Statistical Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
In answer to your letter of yesterday, Mr [Joseph] Korosi unfortunately left the manuscript of his full paper in a cab, and has never been able to recover it. He is now making a translation from a copy of the same which he has in Hungary, but I fear it will be some time before we can get this into type. As to Mr [Francis] Galton's paper, if you can obtain his permission to republish I do not think our Council would make any objection. Perhaps you will communicate with me again as soon as you have got the author's consent?
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
