<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir John,
The Income Tax Assessors have issued the old form. In view of the forthcoming Budget, I objected to filling up the last column, by which exemption or abatement is claimed on the old terms. I inclosed our assessor's answer to my objection, but should like to know what you wish me to do before I make the return for the salaries of employees.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
