<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], Secretary of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'My Lord,
There is nothing at all on Thursday, but two Committees on Wednesday: - Selection Procedure, at 2.30; and Catalogue Sub-Committees at 4. I am surprised that Dr Foster should have forgotten about [Alfredo Antunes] Kanthack & [William Bate] Hardy, as I had quite a talk with him about it. The cutting down has been done, and the whole thing merely waited for the formal vote of the Committee. I shall now tell Harrisons they may issue it.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
