<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr G M Dawson, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
I wrote on June 27 to say that your cheque for £3 which had been mislaid had come to light, and that in accordance with your instruction it would be placed to your credit for next year's subscription. To-day, however, it has been returned by the bank with intimation that payment has been stopped. I am, therefore, cancelling your credit for next year, and when the proper time comes the annual contribution will be due as usual.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
