Letter from H H Dale, Medical Research Council, National Institute for Medical Research, Hampstead, London, to the Aliens Tribunal, Oxford Is informed that Otto Loewi is to appear before the Tribunal dealing with 'aliens of enemy nationality' - has been close to Loewi for 37 years and had previously arranged for him to continue his researches at Dale's own department - regards it 'as of great importance, and definitely in the interests of this country, that Professor Loewi should retain the freedom required to continue his work. 2 November 1939
