Paper, 'On the development of the enamel of the teeth of vertebrates' by E [Emily] Nunn Nunn writes: 'With one exception all investigators appear to have taken it for granted that the enamel of vertebrate teeth is formed by the "enamel cells" of the "enamel organ".
