  <dc:description>The first of two volumes of the manuscript versions of papers published by the Royal Society in volume 130 of 'Philosophical Transactions', covering papers I-XIX. The second volume is located at PT/24. A note at the beginning of this volume indicates that papers IV-VII, X, XII, and XIV are missing.

The volume includes some original illustrations and figures drawn in ink in support of the papers.

Missing from this volume are manuscripts for the following papers:
