Referee's report by Joseph John Thomson, on a paper 'The measurement of high potential difference' by H C Leake, R Leventhorpe and C S Whitehead Not recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions in it's present form, despite the fact that it contains some results that are worthy of publication. The paper is too diffuse. Everything that is valuable could be put in a paper about a third of the size of the present one.
