Referee's report by George Howard Darwin, on behalf of the Mathematical Committee, on a paper 'Octonions' by Alex McAulay The Committee is of the opinion that the paper should be published as a book. A grant by the Royal Society should be made in aid of its publication. It is likely that the Mathematical Society would not cooperate with the publication.
