<dc:title>Second referee's report by Micaiah John Muller Hill, on a paper 'On simultaneous partial differential equations' by Alfred Cardew Dixon</dc:title>
<dc:description>Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The modifications made are unsatisfactory. Refers to work of Joseph-Louis Lagrange, Paul Charpit and Carl Gustav Jacob Jacobi. Provides criticism of the updated calculations. Has recently refereed another paper by the author, submitted to the Mathematical Society, which he recommended for publication, despite misgivings. Does not think the second part should be published until the first part has been more fully worked out.
