<dc:title>Referee's report by Lazarus Fletcher, on a paper 'An experimental investigation into the flow of marble' by Frank Dawson Adams and John Thomas Nicolson</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional committee: Physics and chemistry

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, in full. All the illustrations should be reproduced but if economy is very necessary the two figures of the machinery may be omitted. The authors are familiar with the work of their predecessors and have made careful and long-continued experiments: the results obtained will be useful in the investigation of the possible modes of origin of certain rock-characters.
