<dc:title>Referee's report by Arthur Alcock Rambaut, on a paper 'The seasonal variation of atmospheric temperature in the British Isles and its relation in wind-direction' by William Napier Shaw and R Waley Cohen</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: not stated.

The paper is valuable and except for its length it is suitable for printing in the Proceedings. Has gone through the paper paragraph by paragraph to see whether it could without injury be shortened. It seems however that nothing could be omitted without 'mutilating' the paper. The authors might condense the introduction but with this exception he thinks the paper ought to be printed in extenso. The illustrations seem essential but some of them; three, four, five and seven, are very rough and not in a proper condition for reproduction. Suggests the authors supply more finished copies.
