<dc:title>Referee's report by Thomas George Bonney, on a paper 'Report on the recent eruption of the Soufrière, St Vincent, and of a visit to Mount Pelée, Martinique' by Tempest Anderson and John Smith Flett</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Geology

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. He has had to read the paper on sections and slight over-lappings may have escaped notice. At the request of the Committee, he has been through the author's photographs and makes various suggestions regarding their enlargement, and the addition for instance, of a folding map of a reproduction of an Admiralty chart. In general he notes the expenditure proposed for the illustrations is large, but the report is worth well illustrating and when complete will form a most valuable addition to their knowledge of volcanoes.
