<dc:title>Referee's report by John Rose Bradford, on a paper 'Influence of rainy winds on Phthisim' by W Gordon</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Physiology

Not recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. The author's conclusions are apparently based upon an extensive and very laborious study of the statistics of death from phthisis in different countries and although a painstaking piece of work, and of distinct value, it does not seem to be of the character suitable for the 'Transactions'. The paper should be presented to one of the medical societies where the conclusions might be discussed and criticised.
