<dc:title>Second referee's report by John Henry Poynting, on a paper 'The effects of changes of temperature on the modulus of torsional rigidity of metal wires' by Frank Horton</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: [Physics and Chemistry]

Frank Horton was with Poynting yesterday and they reduced the tables of Horton's paper from 36 to ten and the figures from 27 to seven, putting two or three curves on one sheet in some cases. Asks if he should send the paper and figures back to the Society or straight to Horton in order that he may make the necessary corrections. Lists recommendations for the diagrams and tables of Horton's paper.
