<dc:title>Referee's report by Percy Alexander MacMahon, on a paper 'The differential invariants of a surface, and their geometric significance' by Andrew Russell Forsyth</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. Modification is unnecessary and there are no illustrations. In general thinks this a valuable memoir based on the researches of Zorowski in the 'Acta Mathematica'. It completes an important part of invariant theory applied to surfaces and the curves drawn upon them. No other memoir on this subject has yet appeared in the English language.
