<dc:title>Referee's report by John Bretland Farmer, on a paper 'Experimental researches on vegetable- assimilation and respiration III. On the effect of temperature on Carbon Dioxide assimilation' by Gabrielle Louise Caroline Matthaei</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. Does not discuss modification and thinks all the illustrations should be reproduced. The paper is a valuable one, the tables supply the detailed evidence and will be useful to future investigations. Although they are numerous they appear not to unnecessarily repeat themselves. For instance, table five contains a large amount of detail but the different temperatures at which the observations were taken render this necessary.
