<dc:title>Referee's report by Hector Munro Macdonald, on a paper 'The acoustic shadow of the sphere, with an appendix by Professor A Lodge giving the values of Legendre's Functions from P0 to P20 at intervals of 5 degrees' by John William Strutt, 3rd Baron Rayleigh</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. Illustrations are not mentioned. In general the paper deals with a question of great interest and the results obtained are valuable. Explains why the compiler of the tables might add a word of caution as to the use of the values when the order of the harmonies is high.
