<dc:title>Report enclosed with third referee's report by William Hallowes Miller, on a paper 'On a general law of density in saturated vapours' by John James Waterston</dc:title>
<dc:description>Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Considers the methods to be very useful, and these can be recommended for publication, except where the 'the author tries to show that the effects of internal pressure may be neglected'. Refers to work by Pierre Louis Dulong, Alexis Thérèse Petit and Henri Victor Regnault. Addresses criticism of the thermometers used in the experiments. Cannot recommend publication of the second part of the paper. Suggests the second part should be referred to other members who have more experience with the subject.
