<dc:title>Committee report by William Duddell, on a paper 'On the flow of electricity through dielectrics, etc' by G E Bairsto</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Chairman of the Physics and Chemistry Committee asks William Duddell if the attached modifications to the paper are of such a nature to allow publication. - Signed R Harrison

William Duddell responds that he is not prepared to support publication of the paper in either the Philosophical Transactions or the Proceedings. Considers the materials chosen [celluloid] are entirely unsuited for the investigations undertaken. Offers criticism of the tables and inconsistencies of terminology. Suggests the author re-write the paper in a much condensed form to aid in clarity ad to make the novel aspects of their research easier to discern. Dated 1 December 1914.
