<dc:title>Referee's report by Vernon Herbert Blackman, on a paper 'Researches on growth and movement in plants by means of the high magnification crescograph' by Jagadis Chunder Bose</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Botany

Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. The paper should be read before the Royal Society. The observations and explanations are interesting. The paper is diffuse and displays a lack of knowledge of plant physiology. The work would be best published as a book, similar to much of the author's other work. Suggests the author be asked to 'extract from the present work a short paper, for the Proceedings'.
