<dc:title>Referee's report by Edward Albert Sharpey-Schafer, on a paper 'A study of the adrenal cortex in the mouse and its relation to the gonads' by Ruth Deanesly</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional committee: Physiology

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, as it is too long for the Proceedings. However, it is very similar to article published by the American Journal of Anatomy by E Howard-Miller. The referee is not accusing the author of stealing, but feels they must have read the other paper before writing their own. The Committee should decide if it is appropriate to publish in Philosophical Transactions.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, 1928].
