<dc:title>Referee's report by Ernest William MacBride, on a paper 'Studies on echinoderm oogenesis. I. Antedon bifida (Pennat)' by L A Harvey</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional committee: Zoology

Recommended for publication in Proceedings, in full. It is a valuable contribution to knowledge and includes 'a multitude of new critical observations on a very difficult and important subject'. The author's theory is destructive to all the ones that came before it, without providing a clear cut answer. The illustrations may not be reproduced well, so a consultation should be arranged between the author and lithographer.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, 1931].
