Referee's report by Edward Victor Appleton, on a paper 'A method of measuring the effective resistance of a condenser at radio frequencies, and of measuring the resistance of long straight wires' by E B Moullin Sectional committee: Physics Recommended for publication in Proceedings. The paper describes an interesting experimental method, which is new. The author claims that this is the first time separating effective resistance and so the paper's results cannot be compared with anything else.
