Referee's report by Alfred Fowler, on a paper 'On the arc spectrum of iodine' by Suresh Chandra Deb Sectional committee: Physics Not recommended for publication in its present form. A similar paper by S F Evans has been published in Proceedings and the author has obviously not seen it. One of the two authors must be wrong and an independent and laborious study must be undertaken to find out.
