<dc:title>Second referee's report by Louis Napoleon George Filon, on a paper 'The tightness of the teeth, considered as a problem concerning the equilibrium of a thin incompressible elastic membrane' by John Lighton Synge</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication. The paper should be condensed and then it can be published in full. Some of the parts at the beginning should be omitted. Now that the author has acknowledged his criticisms, he can agree with his results. There could be considerable saving of space if the author uses ordinary methods to arrive at his results. The paper exceeds the limit of pages for Proceedings, but would be better placed there than in Philosophical Transactions.
