<dc:title>Referee's report by Charles Stanley Gibson, on a paper 'The condensation of chloral and bromal with substituted ureas' by Frederick Daniel Chattaway and Eric John Francis James</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Chemistry

Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. The work is carefully carried out, but 'it is very simple and, if I may say so, very dull'. Other papers by the same author should have been all printed as one memoir, rather than the four that have been submitted to the Royal Society and the Chemical Society. The similar paper submitted to, and accepted by, the Chemical Society was 'Condensation of chloral with tolyl and nitrophenylureas' by Frederick Daniel Chattaway, G M T Kerr and C G Lawrence.
