Referee's report by William Hobson Mills, on a paper 'Absorption spectra in relation to the colour of solutions of iodine bromide solutions' by A E Gillam Sectional committee: Physics Recommended for publication in Proceedings, although it 'does just reach the lower limit of merit to be required for publication'. It isn't of much importance as some of the observations are not new. The observations from adding alcohol is interesting, but the nature of the interaction is 'left vague'. [Not published].
