Referee's report by Frank Horton, on a paper 'The transmission of infra-red radiation by a thin layer of horn' by H J Taylor Sectional Committee: Physics Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Suggests the paper be rewritten and more carefully worded. Unless some conclusions are drawn from them, the skin experiments are unnecessary. Notes also that the manuscript contains many spelling mistakes which should have been corrected prior to communication.
