<dc:title>Referee's report by James Hartley Ashworth, on a paper 'Transference of Induced food-habit from parent to offspring. Part I' by D E Sladden</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Zoology

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London' as a record of observations. Finds the subject outside of his experience, and feels another referee with more experience with feeding insects would be able to judge the significance of the paper more fully. Suggests also a statistician be sought for an opinion, suggests Ronald Aylmer Fisher. The modifications in the introduction satisfactorily address the criticisms of the first referee.
