<dc:title>Referee's report by Cecil Henry Desch, on a paper 'Numerical relationships in binary metallic systems' by D Stockdale</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional Committee: Engineering Sciences

Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London' in its present form. Refers to work of William Hume-Rothery, of whose work the current paper is a recalculation. The number of points is too low to give certain conclusions. Refers to work of Gustav Heinrich Johann Apollon Tammann. Finds the work good, but too long and speculative. Suggests another opinion be sought.
