Referee's report by John Phillips, on a paper 'Researches on solar physics. Heliographical positions and areas of sun-spots observed with the Kew photoheliograph during the years 1862 and 1863' by Warren De La Rue, Balfour Stewart and Benjamin Loewy Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Considered the Proceedings to be the most suitable place for publication at first, as it would be advisable to publish the paper quickly, but as other papers of observations from the Kew observatory have been published in the Transactions the paper should most likely be published there.
