Letter from August Dupré and Frederick James M Page, regarding a paper 'The specific heat of mixtures of alcohol and water' by August Dupré and F J M Page Have decided to adopt the suggestions of the referees, and request permission to withdraw the paper. If requested, the authors intend on resubmitting a condensed report, with the addition of further experimental results, to hopefully give a complete memoir on the subject. The authors also thank the Royal Society for their grant, which will allow for completion of the study.
