Apologises for the delay in deciding on the security of the current paper and a paper by John Turton Randall, which was considered by the Cathode Ray Tube Committee, who consider the papers should remain Secret until after the war. The recommendation is based on the fact that the papers would indicate the direction of research in this area. Agrees with the recommendation and asks that the papers not be published.
